My name is Asra Amar, I’m 32 years old and I come from Syria, specifically from Darkash. In my country, I only have my mother left. There, I was a housewife, and then, seven months ago, I started my journey, first by car, and then on foot.
I had
to leave because of the war. Now I have been in Bosnia for five months, but I
would like to reach Germany. I don’t have any friends nor family there, but I
want to go there to get a better life for my future children. There, I want to
go to school and study.
What I miss
the most about my life before leaving, it’s how my life was before the war.
Right now,
I think the life here in Borici camp is good, and I participate to the IPSIA
activities. I like that we can talk, drink coffee and do activities.
My biggest
dream is to be free to do anything, and see my mother again.
